However, there is so much to get done before we leave. My mind is exploding with things to remember (in the midst of a regular work schedule)... and it just so happened that Jack did not pass his annual audiology test today and so it's back to the ENT for more testing.
I was reminded of a blog post I wrote a while ago. It seems that I learned another lesson from it today that I want to share with you.
It's about not being depressed. It's true. I do not have the luxury to be depressed. When my alarm goes off at 5:15am, my schedule demands that I jump out of bed and begin my day. If I don't, then the subsequent series of events usually culminates in my tardiness at work. As you read this, you most probably agree. I won't go into detail because, as comedian Brian Reagan says, "Nobody likes a 'me monster' ", but I have a funny feeling that you wish you could escape the pressure for an hour, a day, a month, forever.
