Give Your Kids the Key to Success

Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.

As parents of kids with special needs, we probably share many of the same dreams, wishes, and worries.

As parents- we love our kids and want them to be "successful". But from the moment she was diagnosed with down syndrome, I worried about "HOW" she would become "successful" in life.

$$$Money, status, impressive job, college degree, marriage and a family.

What if Bethany can't achieve any of those things esteemed so highly in this life?

The Truth shall set us free! True Success is living God's way!

The tools and wisdom we need to succeed in LIFE are found within the treasure of God's Word!

God has a totally different core curriculum! He defines success in context of His kingdom.

The greatest commandment can be summed up by this: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, might, and strength and love your neighbor as yourself.

He has shown you, people, what is required of you: to do justly, to love mercy, to walk humbly with your God.

If you want to be great in God's kingdom- learn to be the servant of all.

Seek first the kingdom of God, then all these things will be added to you.

The first shall be last and the last shall be first.

God's power works best in weakness so that we might give praise to God's strength.

We may wonder why our journey is filled with challenges but know this:

We've been given a glimpse of eternal perspective on what really matters in the kingdom of God!

We've been gifted a head start in understanding how God defines SUCCESS- and the understanding that true success comes from knowing Him and living according to His truths.

Thank you for giving us Your Words of Life so that we can succeed in the things that matter the most to you. Help us teach our kids to fill their lives with You, so that they will be blessed with success!
In Jesus' Name,

Keep on keeping on- fellow parents :)
